disabling caching based on HTTP response headers

Hi - I'd like to be able to write squid.conf rules to disable caching
for certain values of certain HTTP headers (e.g. where Server:
includes icecast :-), and was thinking about hacking a patch for
Squid to make this possible.

It would seem natural to add HTTP response filtering to the existing
ACL code, but after looking at the code I realised that it would be
quite a big change to make this work - say either passing the response
object over to the ACL code, or passing specific headers as
parameters.

An alternative would be to have a new squid.conf directive, which
could be implemented without hacking the ACL code over.

So, I thought I'd ask here what people think about the best way of
doing this - and whether this is a feature which might make its way
back into the main Squid codebase if cleanly implemented. Wotcha
reckon, folks ?
