BTW the idea with this work is that we have a HTTP proxy which front
ends a mirror server - and have people peer their caches with the
proxy. We create a digest which would result in hits for all of the
possible URLs you could use to reach the resources at the mirror site,
e.g. not just www.apache.org, but also www.apache.org.uk et al.
