No problem, you can do anything you like with my code. There shouldnt be
too much problem integrating the patch as all changes are ifdef'd. just
do a configure with --mysql_acl option to define the MYSQL_ACL macro, and
of course --mysql_include=DIR where DIR is path to mysqlclient headers.

I would be grateful for some feedback if you try it out.
