As discussed some week(s) ago, the fsoptions change has been committed
to 2.4 after fixing the diskd options issue.
This means that the note about cache_dir syntax change needs to be
removed from the release notes on the web. cache_dir is now fully
backwards compatible with 2.3.
I think it is high time for a PRE2 release.
