I realised just after I sent this message yesterday, that I completely
missed the point
of Joao's question. The email I composed then didn't make it because of
the death of
my ppp session....

I'm currently working on (2). Hopefully I'll have the beginnings of
something out the door
this evening....

CVS tag rvenning_tosacl, but I'll write to the list when it's testable.
