Yes. The latest (is it?) IE-5.5 has troubles following redirections on
persistent connections. To reproduce:

        . Issue a temporary redirection (302) to the same server
        . Make sure the target of the redirection (Location:) is
          longer than 218 bytes

If the connection is closed after the redirection, IE will work fine.
If not, it will hang and timeout eventually.
