Hi,

I can't build Squid 2.5 PRE5 on Cygwin 1.3.10 with the --enable-icmp
options enabled.
I get the following error:

.....
source='client.c' object='client.o' libtool=no \
depfile='.deps/client.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/client.TPo' \
depmode=gcc /bin/sh ../cfgaux/depcomp \
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DDEFAULT_CONFIG_FILE=\"c:/squid/etc/squid.conf\" -I.
-I. -I
../include -I. -I. -I../include -I../include -s -O2 -c `test -f client.c
|| e
cho './'`client.c
gcc -s -O2 -g -o squidclient.exe client.o -L../lib -lmiscutil -lm
gcc -s -O2 -g pinger.c -o pinger
In file included from pinger.c:36:
squid.h:38: config.h: No such file or directory
squid.h:108: squid_types.h: No such file or directory
squid.h:274: #error XX **NO VARARGS ** XX
squid.h:384: md5.h: No such file or directory
....

It seems that compiling rules for pinger are wrong. I have looked on
src/Makefile, but I can't understand where is the problem

Configure options are:

configure --disable-wccp --enable-underscores --enable-snmp \
  --enable-useragent-log --enable-auth="basic ntlm" \
  --enable-ntlm-auth-helpers=NTLMSSP --prefix=c:/squid --enable-delay-pools
--enable-icmp

The same config options works fine on my Alpha Linux box.

Regards

Guido
