Puzzled at "storeKeyPublic" and "storeKeyText"

Hi, pals!

I am not very familiar with MD5 algorithm, so I am
puzzled at the two functions, "storeKeyPublic" and "storeKeyText".

What is the function of "storeKeyPublic" and "storeKeyText"?

Btw:
Can anyone introduce me an article of MD5 for newbie? I want to
make myself familiar with the algorithm as soon as I can. :-)
