It is a know problem (with Squid), IIRC. That is, at least Duane knows
about it. IIRC, There are some optimization shortcuts that let Squid
issue one request to the server when receiving two, nearly
simultaneous, requests from clients.

Polygraph uses

        Cache-control: no-cache
        Pragma: no-cache

in the request, I think.

Use "--dump errs" with polyclt to see more info. "--dump hdrs" will
show headers for all transactions.
