enable-icmp option / devel

hi all,
i have 2.5.stable1 and devel running (nt port),both cvs
updated yesterday and compiled with enable-icmp option
(visual studio .net)
they run fine but for the development version the
enable-icmp option does not seem to work:
the pinger.exe reference does not show up in
cachemgr/"Current Squid Configuration",
cachemgr/"Network Measurement Database" is not available
and i checked pinger.exe: it's not loaded at all
am i missing here something?
