Usually yes in case of standard networking related stuff, but in case of
NTLM, SMB and Windows RPC X86 is the native byte order causing headaches
for Sparc or other systems with a different byte ordering or word sizes
than X86.

Robert: Do you compile the code as 32 bits or 64 bits? It might be that
you are bitten by word size incompabilities if not endianness..
