How many connection squid makes to origin server

hello squid developer
I want to know how many connection squid makes to origin server.
below is my netstat statistics
tcp 0 0 192.9.203.162:34447 203.88.128.11:80 ESTABLISHED

tcp 0 0 192.9.203.162:34450 203.88.128.11:80 ESTABLISHED

tcp 0 0 192.9.203.162:34448 203.88.128.11:80 ESTABLISHED

tcp 0 0 192.9.203.162:34449 203.88.128.11:80 ESTABLISHED

this is for site www.icenet.net that i have visited from IE 5 throgh squid 2.5 Stable1
so does squid opens multiple connection to origin server.
