IPv6 enabling Squid

Good afternoon.

I am a student from portugal and i am in the beginning of a projecto wich
involves IPv6 enabling squid. I have downloaded de ipv6 patch available in
squid page but it didn't work with version 2.5.STABLE2. I also have tried it
with other versions with no luck.
For wich version is the patch ment for? Can anyone help me?
