Feature Request

Hi,

This is more of something to add to the 'wishlist' of features for
squid. Over the almost decade of using squid I keep running into the
problem of being able to figure out why squid does not want to cache any
particular object. It would be nice to have something which stated very
clearly in the log something to the effect of: "Unable to cache request
X because of Y" where Y might be one of:

expires header is older than current time
cache-control max-age says the cached object is out of date
no cached object was available
status number X (302, etc..) does not have an expires header
etc. etc..

Right now, it is fairly difficult to track this down, which seems odd
since caching is one of the primary functions of squid.
