caching options

Dear Sirs,

this is sebastian and i am using squid 2.3 since 1 year for caching objects
and blocking spam.
i am really happy cause everything works fine:
60.000 file request and
30.000 matches each month and
7.000 blocked urls.

but i am not satisfied with the reactions of small objects (smaller than
10kbyte),
cause it needs to much time until the harddisk sends the requested
objetcs to the clients.
i would like to know, if there is a possibility to advise squid to load
all objects smaller
than xxKByte into the RAM? (i should also need to tell squid how much
RAM it should use for this option!)
and it should save all objetcs from RAM to disk when i stop the squid.

With best regardes,

Sebastian Steinkamp
