I think that it shouldn't.

I have attached the needed patch for ldap_auth.

There is only one common change: I need util.h as first include for
initializing all the emulation/source compatibility environment, I hope
that this will not be a problem.

Using MinGW, at build time the source must be linked against wladp32
instead of ldap and lber.

Let me to know your opinion, if positive, I will send the patch for
ldap_group that it's very similar.
