Nothing looks harmful, but it is obviously good if the errors are
corrected allowing Squid to be built with this compiler.

Depends on the scale of the changes needed. So far it looks like only
trivial changes to clean things up slightly. No real errors so far, but
one false warning and one warning I don't understand what it is about
(sentinel, what is that?).
