I think that bug #1205 is critical: the problem is present using all
authentication schemas, there is something wrong in ACL processing, so the
authentication framework of 3.0 currently is not operational.

Bug #1218 should be only a C++ question, how I would to know C++ like
Robert .... :-)

I agree, we should have some preliminary stage, something like ALPHA or
similar. PRE songs not so dissimilar from RC.
