Questions on Squid 3.0

Hello,

I have two questions on Squid 3.0:

1) The latest daily snapshot of Squid 3.0 is from July 15th. Is there a more
   recent snapshot available?
2) With this snapshot I get this error when trying to start squid:

   merkur3:~/Install/squid-3.0-PRE3-20050715 # /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -z
   2005/08/05 13:31:36| Memory pools are 'off'; limit: 2.00 MB
   Aborted

Is there a way to solve this? I didn't find a bugzilla entry (searching for
"memory pool") for this, so I guess I should file one?
