Squid-2.6 update

The SSL support has now been merged, and the queue of things to merge is
now quite small.

Remaining things:

  - epoll
  - Cygwin Windows service
  - external acl password= from 3.0
  - external acl grace parameter from external_acl_fuzzy / 3.0
  - Connection pinning
  - ETag (?)
  - New improved COSS

PRE1 is planned as soon as the epoll support has been merged.

Regarding the ETag patch then I am a bit dual about this. It makes Squid
behave much closer to the specs wrt ETag/Vary, but also more sensitive
to misbehaving servers not following specs..
