Hello,

I've just updated from Squid v2.6.20 to v2.7.stable2 on a Windows 2003
server. In the changelog for the new version I found the following
note:

***
        - Windows port: Handle notification of IP address changes for dial-up
          connections
***

When I look at squid's logfile I see the following every time a VPN
connection is established to or from the server:

***

2008/06/01 17:40:13| Notification of IP address change received, requesting Squid reconfiguration ...
2008/06/01 17:40:13| Reconfiguring Squid Cache (version 2.7.STABLE2)...

2008/06/01 17:40:14| Accepting proxy HTTP connections at [server static IP, never changing], port [port], FD 39.

2008/06/01 17:40:14| Loaded Icons.
2008/06/01 17:40:14| Ready to serve requests.

***

I assume the two are connected. How can I disable this new behaviour?
The server has to handle frequent VPN connections and it is highly
undesired that squid becomes active every time a connection is
established or closed.

Do you have any suggestion on how to handle this? Any help would be
much apreciated.
