I'd be quite happy with a migration to svn for the time being so Guido
can continue working on Squid-2-Win32 without worrying about VCS
portability related issues.

About the only thing thats still slightly whacked in subversion is the
mergeinfo related stuff. The FreeBSD crowd is having fun nutting all
of that stuff out :)
