I cannot work on this right now, but I am worried about adaptation
transactions that would get aborted during reconfigure because their
selected adaptation service suddenly becomes invalidated. I may be wrong
though because I do not understand the overall patch logic by looking at
the patch itself.
Unless Christos is confident that this patch is the right thing to do, I
would wait a few days. I may be able to look at this on Sunday.
