I have not noticed any lack of examples on how to code for concurrent.
What seems to be missing is documentation of which bundled helpers are
of what type and what happens if the config uses/omits it wrongly.

The idea I was going with was just a simple test for the numeric, so
that whether or not the admin has configured it does not kill the helper
and shortly Squid. We still get those complains occasionally.
