   cd /path/to/local/trunk/checkout
   bzr update

   cd /your/branch/directory
   bzr merge /path/to/local/trunk/checkout ("squid-new/trunk" in the
above example)

then resolve any conflicts, commit (we usually label such merges "merge
from trunk") and re-test.
