DNS problems

In squid1.0beta17, under heavy load, I infrequently experience the
following problem:

I get incorrect DNS denials, citing "Host not found (authoritative answer)".
This result seems to come straight from dnsserver (and is then cached, of course).

Still less frequently, these results are delivered to the wrong clients,
not asking anything from the cited host.

This is Solaris 2.4, with alocal cacheing nameserver (BIND 4.9.3).

Heavy load means 4 requests/sec. including ICP. The machine also carries
the WWW server and a local accelerator.
