No full domainname in error messages

Hello,

Using squid-1.01 (and versions before) on Linux 2.0 (gcc 2.72, clib
5.3.12) error messages like "The requested URL could not be
retrieved" are signed only with the hostname (Generated by squid/1.0.1@cserv
) and not with the full host and domainname.
In a caching hierarchy with equal hostnames it is very difficult to
find the host, which is generating this message.

Any ideas ?
