Is there a definitive way to filter Java and ActiveX?

Hi there

I know this has been discussed before, but the only answers I saw appeared
to make big assumptions that "all java files end in .class"/etc.

Is there a way to filter Java and ActiveX (more importantly the latter - I
have some faith in Java - absolutely none in ActiveX) based on
Content-Type: - which will be the _only_(?) definitive way of filtering...

I see this has been done (via a patch) with the TIS FWTK's http-gw
program, maybe we could build it into squid?

Cheers,
