I just tested Stephen's patch for squid-1.1.alpha7 on Linux 2.0. (gcc
2.7.2, libc 5..3.12)
Unfortunately the result was a core dump.
Cache.log looks like follows:
fqdncache.c:689: FD 0: Connection from DNSSERVER #1 is
closed, disabling FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.

Did I miss anything ?
