Greetings Squid Users!

Version 1.0.6 is now available and includes the following changes:

        - Fixed coredump in icpStateFree() for bad requests.
        - Fixed configure bug in determining FD_SETSIZE.
        - Fixed garbage collection to stop if SIGTERM received.
        - Fixed pid file to be written just before 'ready to serve requests'.
        - Fixed CheckQuickAbort() lock_count bug.
        - Fixed setting the hierarchy code for access.log when the
          hierarchy.log is disabled.
        - Fixed urlParse() to fail for URLs longer than MAX_URL bytes.
        - Fixed icpDetectClientClose() to detect TCP half-close and
          not abort the connection.

I received numerous coredump reports, almost all of which were
due to the first one mentioned above (in icpStateFree()), and
for which a patch was readily available on the FTP sites and
from the Squid-1.0.5 page.

After being away from work for two weeks I still have lots of
email in my inbox, so please be patient if it seems like I have
missed something!
