Truncated files

Hi,

we are running 1.1.beta5 on HP-UX 9.05, with a single parent
running 1.0.x. We have frequent truncation problems (most typically on long files),
and I was trying to understand why, as users are getting nervous :-).
In particular, is the problem here or at our upstream provider?
Here is a typical example of a truncated file:

access.log:
845523488.325 2277574 194.20.249.8 TCP_MISS/200 3447922 GET
http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/LIBRARY/SGI/3beta/AcrobatReader3_IRIX_beta12.tar.gz
 - FIRST_PARENT_MISS/proxy.unisource.it
store.log:
845523488.325 RELEASE 200 -163 [-163s] 4806813/3447700
http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/LIBRARY/SGI/3beta/AcrobatReader3_IRIX_beta12.tar.gz

I reloaded the URL (using ) and this time the reload was complete:

access.log:
845525389.811 875350 194.20.249.2 TCP_MISS/200 4807100 GET
http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/LIBRARY/SGI/3beta/AcrobatReader3_IRIX_beta12.tar.gz
 - FIRST_PARENT_MISS/proxy.unisource.it
store.log:
845525389.811 RELEASE 200 0 [ 0s] 4806813/4806813
16378/GET/http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/LIBRARY/SGI/3beta/AcrobatReader3_IRIX_beta12.tar.gz

Thanks
