        Well, this is weird.
I've been using this software since the old harvest flavor.
I've seen many bugs in this software come and go, yet I have never had problem to run the configure program.
Yes, I can't run the configure program shipped with squid 1.1.3.

        Running OS: FreeBSD 2.1.6
                Compiler: GCC 2.7.2 (pentium patched)
                Machine: Pentium Pro 200 Mhz

        I did a ./configure > /tmp/ok 2> /tmp/error
        Here goes the /tmp/ok

        Here goes the /tmp/error:

configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling

I am not using a cross plataform gcc, gas or any of the them.
        Any ideas?

        Thanks,
                Mario Ferreira.
