Rewriting mime header information

Hi all,

I need to extend the octet-stream effort a bit and force
a remapping for some existing types. Ideally something like
acl's, ie. for a class of users abc always do remapping binhex to
octet-stream.

Is anyone looking at this kind of remapping? I didn't see anything
like this in the todo list. The objective is to prevent some
downloads from automatically triggering the installer programs.
