RAID cluster size and objects

If I can variably adjust my disk cluster size in a RAID configuration,
what would be an ideal size to use for the clusters - 4k, 8k, 32k?
I guess it won't really matter which I use, but has anyone had any
experience in this area? What (if any) would be a preferred setting?
