no - I meant for sending ICP.

If it doesn't bind, than it uses the interface chosen by its local
IP routing policy.

if it answers to normal ping on both interfaces, then it means that
it has defined the same routing for both (e.g. they are both directly
attached to the same network) which can be a misconfiguration.

This was also problem with earlier solaris versions (in case your
parent uses solaris 2.4 or so).
