Which Source distribution?

I checked the Squid web site and found three different source
distributions. Which one should I use? Can someone please describe the
features/differences between the distributions or point me to the
appropriate source? Thanks.

              Squid-1.1. Current version: 1.1.10.
              Squid-1.0. Current version: 1.0.22.
              Squid-1.NOVM. Current version: 1.NOVM.10.
