I have just done a real check of our servers here:

grep ERR_DNS access.log | awk '{print $7}' > ~/ERR_DNS
cat ~/ERR_DNS | grep '^http' | sed 's/^http:\/\///' | sed 's/\/.*//' | sort | uniq | xargs -l1 dig +pfset=0x2020

None of them were false... seems to be something to do with
the resolver then, since we have seen it both on 1.1.10 and NOVM
