Error: Unable to Retrieve

After a few requests, I get

Unable to Retrieve
The system returned:
No peers to query and the host is beyond your firewall.
The cache administrator may need to double-check the cache
configuration.
This means that:
The requested URL can not currently be retrieved.

I cannot understand, why I can get a few pages and then it hangs with
the above message. After a reboot, I can retrieve a few pages, and
then the same thing.
