Performance issue, logs & cache

Hi everybody,
     I need to know what's the best way to configure logs
& cache filesystems. My squid cache is generating megs
of logs each days and I do have 4 cache_dirs. So my
questions are:

1- Is Squid logging correctly used when files are on the same
      filesystem & disk or must we seperate that; I mean
      having access.log, store.log and cache.log on 3 seperated
      disks ?

2- Is it the same for the cache_dirs ?

3- What could be the maximum usable size of one cache_dir ?
      (I'm thinking about 4GB or 9GB disks)

P.S. Right now I have the following F/S configuration:

All logs are in .../squid/logs; we are actually testing, so all
cache_dirs are on a unique 4GB disk and logs are on a 2GB disk.
