Best is to simply send this signal as a cron job to rotate the log files
each night (or as often as you desire). There is an entry in the squid.conf
file (logfile_rotate) allowing you to specifiy how many logfile rotations
to allow. Logfiles beyond this value are automatically deleted when
rotation occurs.
