Reading contents of Squid Cache

  Is it possible to "read" the contents of the Squid cache?
  As an example:
  A typical browser has their local cache directories. You can go into
those directories and bring those files up in either a browser, texteditor
or graphics viewer.
  Is there a way to logicly go into a Squid cache directory structure, and
pull files out for use "off-line"?
