It does... the '--no-parent' option is very useful though.

I once wrote this and ended up not using it...

cd ~/wget-files
~/wget -nh -nd -r -q --delete-after http://www.domain.com/
# just to be paraniod delete anyway
cd ~
rm -rf ~/wget-files/*
