Well, I had the same problem some days ago. I had a Linux 2.0.30
with 16Mb RAM and Squid 1.1.20 with cache_mem of 2Mb. I increased the
value to 3Mb and the messages got less frequent, but I was still getting
them some times. The problem finaly disapeared when I installed 64Mb RAM
and devoted 10Mb to the Squid.
