Errors in squid

I get the following in access.log

and the following in cache.log

(What exactly does "icpDetectClientClose: FD 14, 255 unexpected bytes"
mean?)

I am running RedHat Linux 5.1 and Squid 1.1.22. I have just done a clean
install of RedHat and a clean compile/install of Squid 1.1.22 and get the
above error messages. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
