protoCancelTimeout ?

I recently configured squid with the option:
debug_options ALL,2 rather than
debug_options ALL,1

now I get the following messages in my cache.log every second during the whole day:

1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoDispatch: inside_firewall = 0 (OUTSIDE_FIREWALL)
1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoDispatch: hierarchical = 1
1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoDispatch: n_peers = 0
1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoDispatch: single_parent = 123.123.123.123
1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoDispatch: default_parent = 123.123.123.123
1998/09/08 23:58:00| protoCancelTimeout: FD 27 'http://xyz.xyz.xyz/abc/abc.def'

(I altered the IP-addresses and URL).

I know that the request is going to our only parent via the default_parent entry in squid.conf.
But what does the last line mean?? (In general a timeout gives me slow responses)

Any ideas?
