Slowness??

I've got some weirdness happening which I'm not sure whether to blame
the browser, squid or something else like DNS.

At random it appears sites are taking ages but lookups are blindingly
fast. The problem appears to be worst with IE4 (but this may be just
co-incidence).

Anyone come across anything like this before?
