Neither, to be precise. Purging "http://www.host.domain/" purges that
particular document. Squid does not (and should not) assume that
"http://www.host.domain/" is the same as "http://www.host.domain/index.html"
and/or the same as "http://www.host.domain/index.htm"...

Thus, you have to purge all the objects by specifying their exact URLs.
Grep-ing through store.log or access.log for matching URLs may help.
