Then use native cc.

The error reported from GCC looks like the system include files are
incompatible with GCC. Not much Squid can do about that.

The note about using gcc is because this is the only compiler that the
developers actively use when testing Squid, but if you are trying to use
threading (async-io) then you should most likely try using a native
ANSI-C compiler before using GCC... This is because you are usually
required to change quite a bit of the compilation/linkage process when
using threads.
