Timeout for "Operation already in progress"?

Hi,

My configuration is:
Squid 1.1.21
Linux kernel 2.0.35

I'm seeing a lot of the "(114) Operation already in progress" errors. From the
archives, I gather that these result from some kind of timeout when contacting a
server. Is there some way of increasing this timeout?

Also, how transparent is the migration to 2.0? Is this recommended, or is 1.1.21
the stablest version available?
