RedHat 5.2 kernel 2.0.36 & Squid 2.1.PATCH2 FD problem

Hi all,

Can any one out there help me to increase the FD limit in RH5.2? I'd
download the filehandle patch v8.4 but fail to apply. Thank you very
much!
